This version features a "personality" setting between default and 'king of the world' which i assume to be a more aggressive or speculative personality. It seems to be weaker.

yes, this is correct, this "personality" should lead to more aggressiveness in the gameplay and avoid draws as much as possible.

I also assume that this setting is weaker in practical play against other engines, perhaps this setting is interesting for people who prefer an aggressive style of play.

weirdly what im seeing, is that in multiple 3min games vs the default, it gets what the default would say is losing, then it later equalizes, or it just plays terrible and aggressive

thank you for this test, I think you are the first person who tested this setting.

However, it is not meant to win against LGE with the default settings.

I'll have to see whether I like this, or the tactical and combination settings do anything on the older version 3.15.

It's probably best to test such special aggressive settings against opponents that are at least one class below in strength.
