This, even if we accept it at face value (which I don't), doesn't begin to explain why she became a terrorist in her late thirties and early forties (most people who become terrorists in countries with full political rights start younger than this). Her daughter has analysed her deeply, and came up with this broken brain information, which looks like a better explanation to me.

Her daughter is very conservative and one can see her political engagement as a kind of rebellion against her mother.
If any person who had a cyste taken out gets a terrorist the police would have had much to do.
Fact us ulrike meinhof was fighting against the german state long before she became a terrorist, as a critical journalist, writing in KONKRET ans in many TV shows where she was invited within rounds of smoking men.

RAF fought nazis in germany. Today we have right wing terrorists. Fighting the german state.
And a party AFD that supports all those right wing people.


Times have changed.
We have now a democracy.
In the early years of Germany when Meinhof lived, the nazis were in parliament and in the government.
They never went away. After WW2 they only changed names or habit.
Most of them changed from NSDAP into CDU and FDP because this were right wing parties.
They wanted to replace their NSDAP book with the new democracy paper of the cdu and fdp.
The german president Lübke e.g. (CDU) had built KZ‘s.
His signature has been found under plans of KZ‘s.

What mainly destroyed the terrorists in prison was the isolation torture. That made the terrorists that ill and mad that they could not follow or appear innthe court case against them.
Ulrike meinhof was in köln ossendorf in a dead end part of the prison with no sounds. Completely isolated. Sensorical deprivation.

Politically she was a genius. RAF was completely right in their targets. Where is RAF today when we need them. E.g. to kill lukaschenko and Putin

I came across this thread by complete accident. It made me wonder if you have any idea how she actually took care of her children when she decided to go underground.
