I like to discuss and study intelligent women.
I find it boring with all the many males, you see how degenerate male groups develop the best in Talkchess or CSS forum. Males are pretty boring. And i prefer fighting snd interesting women.
IMO computerchess is in the moment very boring because there is no variance anymore. Its all about stockfish or not stockfish.
They talk about elo but the engines make only elo because they increase the search tree algorithms. For me as a customer or tester this is very boring because the engines do not play chess and instead generate elo out of search tree perfection.
Recently in CCC they even declared that evaluation functions done by humans are at the end of the programming history.
IMO this all shows that chess programmers never cared for evaluation functions. It was so easy to make the search tree better and get the elo by doing this.
Why work years and years over evaluation functiom when buying a computer that is 6 times faster automatically increases elo.
And that is the strategy if you only look on the search and evaluation function is too complicate and brings not enough elo.
