Application and security ?

How do you prevent your webapplication from being hacked. I don't know.
So maybe I should develop only desktop applications using say WPF or console applications

Or can they be hacked too? I don't know.
Or maybe develop nothing.

I recommend:

* using a framework that provides security

* avoid putting information that you wouldn't want a hacker to get into your web application

In .Net security changes with each version. Not really giving trustworthfully impression. Or problem with internet and security too difficult to solve. Or why do they change it?

At first glance, it looks as though you might be overthinking this: your best advice might be to choose a framework that's easy to use, resolves most of the main security risks, and start building.

This approach is FAR too risky: before writing a word of code, one should commission a comprehensive report from a top security consultancy on how to minimise the risks for the planned application.

Moreover, the internet exposes people to the risk of being found by a crazed sadistic psychopath, so first things first: before connecting your house to the internet, install a rack of powerful guns near the front door.

I suggest consulting an IT services firm (offering software development, test automation services) to fix these issues.
