Do you think NN will increase playing strength better then YOU did ?!
Chris, you do computerchess and human programming since z80a CPU engines calles Superchess.
This was zx spectrum with tape recorded sources. Cassette player tape.
Long time ago.
Don’t you think using NN stops This long Age of development by using computer AI ?!
Is the human programmer at the end of the development ?!
I was one of those zx spectrum people who bought your software. And followed your programming efforts.

A remarkable coincidence - I just mentioned this very same program in the EEPD thread at almost the same time you mentioned it here!
To answer the question "is the human programmer at the end of the development?", the answer is that if we want a machine player made from today's technology that cannot be beaten, then we're going to need more knowledge than humans know how to put into a program.
