A question for Chris.

I found an old abandonware from 2003 here. Was it an ulterior version of CSTal? It looks very nice, imho, and the style of play is interesting (although the book seems horrible).

As far as I know Purple didn't use any of my old sources and tried to write their own chess program instead.

That sounds intriguing! I'm not sure if it was an earlier version of CSTal, but it's always interesting to discover old games with unique gameplay. The graphics and style of play from that era can often be quite appealing. It's a shame about the book, though.

@Ghppn, do you really like this above post by NadiaEira? You were duped, I think so.

I am the one who "red flagged" it using the reputation system (+/-).
The reason why, you probably missed: this user quoted matejst's original post BUT slyly changed the included link, from tournament-chess to an unrelated games website. Most probably to get ingenuous hits and maybe more.
A behavior pattern that is not acceptable, TMHO.
