Not particularity funny, but a good summary of the whole situation.

I appreciate the humour, and I'm glad that video was made and uploaded, but personally I won't condemn Albert.

Suppose you buy some plain white cups, you paint them, and then sell them for 4x the price. You didn't create any of the cup functionality - you just applied some paint! But you don't usually get a crowd screaming "rip off!".

btw in case anyone is actually going to buy FF, it's €100 in the main Chessbase website, but the equivalent of €40 in rupees on the Indian Chessbase website. If I were buying, I would go to the Indian site.

In the end CB is responsinle, not Albert. Speaking of Albert, he is quiet like a mouse.

Not so quiet, when he said he was misinformed about how he "could" have released his program to be GPL compliant, I asked if it had been his own assumption or if it had been someone else who had advised him to release exe and net bundled together, and he replied with the laconic:
