PostSubject: Perfect Chess Game By An UNKNOWN Player | Stockfish is Confused ????   Perfect Chess Game By An UNKNOWN Player | Stockfish is Confused ???? EmptySun Jan 01, 2023 1:14 pm

My first laugh of the new year!

Talkchess had this tread. https://talkchess.com/forum3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=81239

In the thread the links lead to a chess teaching web site. https://chess-teacher.com/perfect-chess-game-by-unknown-player/

That link leads to a You Tube chess teaching video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8S6Tk1QVeU&t=609s

And discussing this game. And people have even given the game a name. Because it was such a great game.
The name of this game is called “Field of Nightmares” And the game was played less then a year ago.

In the video the chess teacher tells us that Stockfish is Confused!
And then the chess teachers tell us how we need to know the "theory" of the fried liver. bounce

Not only was Stockfish not confused in the position on my computer.

The chess teacher is the only one that does not know "theory". And I guess youtube, and talkchess.

As the game that was played this year, and given the name of “Field of Nightmares”.

Was played first by two other players in 2011!

Speaking of unknown players, I came across this game when I got a chess book from my parents for my birthday.

Topic - when you can't properly defend your king let it attack [!]

It's not without errors but what a game.

Then about 30 years later you read on the internet this game was never played but was a composition.
