Rules of the tournament:
every pair of engines played 4 positions with both sides at 1+1 Fischer time control(all engines used a single core and 2048 mbytes hash tables):
1)Without black queen and 2 rooks.
2)Without white queen and 2 rooks.
3)Without a black queen.
4)Without a white queen.
Of course the side with the material advantage won all games but I consider the winner as the side who needed less moves to mate(a draw if both sides needed the same number of moves).
Rubichess lost only 2 matchs:
1)losing against Blunder with black queen and 2 rooks handicap when blunder mated in 27 moves when RubiChess needed 28 moves to mate
2)losing against Protej0.6.1 with white queen handicap when Protej mated in 32 moves against 38 moves of RubiChess
I chose Stockfish as the engine that is supposed to be the best and later chose 4 engines based on request of the authors and finally added RubiChess as the second best free engine because both Berserk8.5.1 NN and Koivisto7 failed in my early tests with white queen handicap.
I did not try lc0 because I know from what I read in the past that it is trolling in winning positions and do not try to win with less moves so I guessed it has no chance in this tournament.
