You need to delete the Talkchess cookie from your browser.

I was not sure what is the talkchess cookie so decided to delete all the cookies from the last week and I could log in to talkchess with my user name and passward.

Yes, Now I can login again. Deleting all the cookies helped.

Only able to access it once. After deleting cookies. But next time It showed that strange chessboard again

O wait I had to clear cookies again in firefox. Using settings.

Again only worked once. Now it doesn't. Getting sick of this.

Maybe wait for next year.

Why not do they switch over to this site.

I've tried deleting the cookies via the button on the forum index page, but I still can't login with either Chrome or Edge.

You need to delete Talkchess Cookies via your Brower ! Using Firefox here.

Delete cookies from a specific site

In Edge, select Settings and more > Settings > Cookies and site permissions.

Under Cookies and data stored, select Manage and delete cookies and site data > See all cookies and site data and search for the site whose cookies you want to delete.

Select the down arrow to the right of the site whose cookies you want to delete and select Delete .

Cookies for the site you selected are now deleted. Repeat this step for any site whose cookies you want to delete.
