This is the 1950 version of the chess set used in the 1950 Chess Olympiad in Boxwood and Ebony. And GM Fischer's favorite chess set. And an original 1950 Dubrovnik chess set was used in the 1992 Fischer Spassky match. So the design is now known as the Fischer Dubrovnik chess set.
It is nice to see someone here who knows not only computer chess, but the game, and history of chess.

Posts : Join date : Fisherov is probably the most aggressive SF clone, and unique in that despite how old it is, I've seen it have a winnng position vs dragon 3 in like 14 moves with no book due to creating an engine puzzle that neither SF nor dragon could find till 5 moves later. Basically dragon blundered a +2 position in a 3min game without knowing it and lost the game

Posts : Join date : I think it is at least good that you are testing Rebel 16.2 and CSTal and posting the results. I have respect for the achievements of the Stockfish team and will never test Stockfish-clone. Changing some parameters in the search or evaluation function is not an independent work for me, especially if the soucecode is not attached. There are certainly much more interesting new programs that can't reach the level of Stockfish, but have a very good potential. For all these programmers it is a slap in the face when they keep seeing people not taking note of their programs and instead, very questionable clones of SF are tested (DarkSister, Eman, Raubfish, Shashchess, Fisherov..).

I would test igel I just don't have it downloaded, I also have some other engines I could test and add

I am currently doing official tests with Lc0 on GPU (NN 61000) against SF 16.0, Komodo Dragon 3.2, CSTal 2.0 and Rebel 16.2. 335/400 games with a thinking time of 4 minutes + 2 seconds are played.

Posts : Join date : Good results. CSTal actually beat the strongest Lc0 net once or twice. Definitely looking forward to the future tal-increasing updates, even if it loses strength, tal-like play would be enjoyable to watch and use for prep potentially.
