Germany's Omicron rapid-increase start date is not 100% clear, but I'm calling it as the 28th December. 25 days from that date is the 22nd January.

For the Netherlands, I'm calling it as one day after Germany.

For France, I'm calling it as one day before Germany.

Likewise I'm calling Israel as one day before Germany as well.

The United States I'm calling as starting on the 26th December, and hence finishing the rapid infection increase phase on the 20th January.

Looks as though it might all be over by the end of the month! Very Happy

Per previously linked article in this thread, if you get a Covid infection that breaks through a vaccination, you then get "super immunity" (a lot more antibodies than someone who has had either an infection or a vaccination alone). If you're VERY lucky, here's what will happen:

* you get a breakthrough infection

* because you're vaccinated, the infection will only be mild

* this breakthrough infection leaves you with super-immunity going forward! Twisted Evil

I also saw an estimate that 1:15 had Covid in UK previous week. In the Netherlands we reached an all time high yesterday while in lock down. Problem is nobody is taking measures serious anymore. All fed up.

I have to include myself in that category: I was in a supermarket last week, and until I got to the checkout, I completely forgot that I was supposed to be wearing a mask! Embarassed

In most cases, though, a negative thing has a positive side: when Covid started, gas masks were unavailable. Now, because people have stopped taking Covid seriously, they are cheap and plentiful - link.

Remember: always be positive! You're 31% more likely to come up with a better answer in a positive state of mind (link).

It builds upon the delta wave, and hell we dont know how high it will rise.

Well there are no English subtitles on that video, so I don't know what was said, but let me provide some imagery of my own. It's all about seropositivity - the presence of antibodies to to the Coronavirus in the blood. When I checked (I think it was just before Christmas - you can look back through this thread and find the link), England had a seropositivity of over 95%. I have no doubt that it's even higher than that now.

No need to take any measures. In the end you get a natural lockdown. Organizations closing for not having enough employees not being ill to keep it running.

O wait it is not being ill but quarantaine that may cause shortage of emplyees. So maybe better partly abolish quarantaine.
