Pompous narcissist (to add to the past psychopathy). A normal, neutral person would write “this thread is now locked ...”, but narcissist on power trip just has to write “I will now lock this thread ...”
Everything about HGM is wrong.

I cannot believe the guy censored (that's what it is) your proof of innocence.
Unbelievable and obviously with malevolent intent.

Tangential, Two cents:
I left another forum because of Pompous, narcissistic psychopathy. I won't even dignify that forum with the name. It was OK for moderator friends to disrespect, oh....but, if you weren't in the "in crowd": "You have been warned" reprimands.
I am glad to be here, at this forum. I have never gone back to the old one. Never.
I will continue to post here and hope that you folks who have been disrespected elsewhere can move on and concentrate your efforts here.
You can NEVER win with a Psychopath. Never. You can NEVER argue with a Psychopath. Never. They're brains are not wired correctly. That's why they are Narcissistic Psychopaths.

Don't know. If you don't want to waste time on discussions you post for instance: "I like the Rolling Stones" instead of posting "Rolling Stones are great".

Yes, anyone who questions HGM is a enemy, and must be SHUT DOWN!. And Yes this is some current active CCC members who are only pointing out the obvious.
HGM has some mental issues. Something is not right with this guy. I am sorry that CCC has put a nut at the helm. With obvious Ed and ProDeo issues. You do not deserve this.

Hgm is a troll. I guess he sees himself as a comedian.

Chess is not always good for you. Post by mwyoung » Sat Feb 06, 2021 5:30 pm
Chess is not always good for you. It can lead to , extreme arrogance, vindictiveness and encourages the development of mental illnesses. I will present one solid example.

And off he goes for another month...
Some guys never learn.
I have gone and done it again with my first post. And I banned myself from CCC again.
HGM needed to add more to his post later. As HGM needed to add more as the moderator of CCC.
And off he goes for another month...
Some guys never learn.
I guess it doesn't go so well for the filth-forum: just 4 or 5 guys having nothing useful to say and spending their time 'liking' each other's not-so-hot postings that arrive at a rate of 1 or 2 per day. So they wanted to attract some attention.

I assume t232 stands for thread 232 and p25 for post 25.
Hello Ed, I just copied my message directly from CCC with the link. And Pasted it here. I just wanted a record of what that I did that gave me a life time ban from CCC. Issued by HGM.

"hgm wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 9:26 am Sorry, I know you are not a native English speaker, but what you write here is so incoherent that it is impossible to understand. So please explain.
We are dealing here with a person who has been warned that personal attacks are a violation in the charter, has been banned because he still persisted posting those despite the warning, and on his first reappearance after the ban expires is to post not on a computer-chess issue, but for no other reason than to call others vindictive and mentally ill.
So how do you think such a person should be handled? Is it likely limited-time banning will make him see the error of his ways? Or should he be judged to be an incurable repeat offender who will abuse any future return in the 'TalkChess society' by immediately violating the rules again, so that it is best to ban him for life right away?"
I will always speak out against HGM's abusive attacking moderation. And show examples of his own words and actions. If this gives me a life time ban by HGM. I would expect no less from HGM.

Hmmm... scratching my head trying to work out how a lifetime ban is a proportionate response for pointing out that removing a link to the evidence of Ed's innocence is unfair. I suppose the justification was the personal attack that accompanied it. However, HGM also said rude things in that thread.

This is not about logic or proportion. This is about motivations. And if you read the postings here you will understand this person HGM.
HGM was critized by me, and I showed what HGM was doing as moderator in HGMs own words and actions. Against Ed... And some agreed.
If I was on CCC attacking Ed. I would still be on CCC.
And HGM hates Ed.

To me it looks like an internal dutch affair. I have no clue what HGMs problem is. Maybe an old rival, a history we don’t Know yet. Obviously not a stable person.
But hey: anybody can choose his friends on his own.

Who'd have thought? A full-on battle to become the grand old Dutchman of computer chess!

Your post reminded me of C.W.'s funny throw away line in this thread. "self-professedly actually calling himself an avenging angel (hence suitably insane)"

Not really. The grand old Dutchman are probably Ed and Johan de Köning.
Literal computer chess legends.
The other guy makes complicated software with an ugly UI and calls people "idiots" if they ask questions about how to use it or suggest improvements.
Don't know about the personal beef between them, but I'm with Ed.
Humility goes a long way.
